As a founding member of the Sustainable Furniture Council since 2006, we’ve remained committed to continually improving our materials and manufacturing practices to reduce environmental impact. We believe in creating eco-friendly furniture that supports a healthier home, and we’re always working to make sustainability simpler for you. We offer a wide range of sustainable, upcycled or recycled fabrics, along with options made without harmful chemicals, including PFAS. Our frames are built using wood from sustainably managed domestic forests, contain no added formaldehyde, and are assembled with water-based, low-VOC glues. The result is cleaner indoor air and a more responsible, sustainable product. We use CertiPUR-US certified foams made without harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, phthalates, or ozone depleters. These foams are low in VOCs for better indoor air quality and are rigorously tested for content, emissions, and durability. Since the early 2000s, Rowe has also maintained a major landfill-diversion program that diverts an average of more than 6 million pounds of material from landfills each year.
