SFC Working Group: Build your Sustainable Design Muscle, with Laura Hodges Studio

Laura Hodges, Owner and Principal Interior Designer of Laura Hodges Studio, presents the sustainable design principles used to guide her company on every project. This presentation focuses on spotting and selecting non-toxic and durable furnishings. Laura also offers guidance on how to engage and persuade clients when they are on the fence about sustainable choices.

This working group meeting strengthens the scope of the question "What is sustainable design?" and helps all interior designers learn more about the best material choices they can make to create healthier interiors and homes, learning through the lens of an established LEED accredited designer. Takeaways include a checklist to use as you shop High Point Market and year-round for your projects. We learn more about Laura Hodges Studio and Laura's retail boutique shop DOMAIN, in Catonsville, Maryland.

The info is geared towards Interior Designers who are SFC Members.
