Our Shepherd’s Dream team has been refining the art of creating Pure Wool Bedding for over 30 years. We take great pride in crafting the best quality natural bedding & mattresses made in the USA, designed to last for generations. We use only the purest, chemical-free materials sourced from local and sustainable farms. We strive to demonstrate the use of proper materials, production techniques and lifestyle principles with commitment to sustainable industry practices.

Sustainable Materials
We make a conscious effort to manage our materials selection, seeking materials we are confident are sustainable, such as legally harvested forest products, responsibly produced plantation products, and recycled content:

We are asking our vendors for textiles that have a lower environmental impact, i.e. organic cotton in place of conventionally-grown cotton, as well as seeking other eco-friendly textiles:

2018:
We are in the process with a solar company to conduct an energy feasibility test on our facility. Likewise, we are also working with an energy consultant to help bring our power usage down. Our goal is to lower our electricity consumption by half or more.

2018:
Our products are inherently sustainable as our products are made out of GOTS certified organic cotton and us grown sheep's wool. We are currently working with our grower's to certify them in responsible wool standard and certified humane. We are also launching a fully GOTS certified line of top of bed accessories.

We are planning to have two open houses about sustainability and how our company is actively taking steps to becoming to make the world a better place. We are also going to have several employee meetings on the importance of being sustainable.
