Education and programming is on for Fall 2023! Please check back with us often to learn more, and to sign up when registration opens (generally about a month prior to the event date). Email us with questions or if you want to lend your expertise on a topic for Working Group Meetings, Webinars, Panels, Sustainability Tours, and other Live Events at HPMKT.

Tentative Calendar of Events:

POSTPONED: Working Group, Health topic

Evelyn Ritter, 3E Toxnot's Senior Solutions Engineer, will return for round 2 to dive deeper and help manufacturers who are creating surveys for their vendors. The overview will be about the benefits of supplier transparency, streamlining supplier requests for data, and utilizing templates to collect data. Check out SFC's What's it Made Of? PLEDGE to ASK to take action today - learning about what chemcials to avoid and asking manufactures and retailers about the material inputs in their supply chain.

October 4: Designer Series Working Group, Circularity and Carbon topic

Kriss Kokefer, Owner of Re-Up, Reupholstery by Kay Chesterfield will talk about the ins and outs of reupholstering furniture for your design projects. What are the pros and cons? What about furniture waste, the embodied carbon of a new vs. reuse sofa or chair? We'll learn about costs and receive practical take-aways for a good re-use business model.
