Chemical Insights, and its stakeholders, are pleased to present research results on flame retardant exposure and furniture flammability and introduce the recently published Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Guidance Document on “Managing Fire and Chemical Exposure Risks of Residential Upholstered Furniture.” Also to be presented, a Toolkit developed to help interior designers understand how to specify upholstered furniture that reduces both fire and chemical exposure risks.
